Ingredients
Red Beans - 1 cup
Raw(green) Banana - 4
Onion - 1/2
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garlic - 1 pod
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Dried red chili - 2
Cooking oil
Salt
Curry leaves
- Cook red beans with water
- Dice bananas and onion
- In a pan, add cooking oil and put in mustard seeds and cumin seeds
- Add in red chillies, curry leaves
- Add and saute' diced onion and crushed garlic
- Add chili powder and turmeric powder
- Add diced bananas, salt and mix well
- Cover and let cook
- Once the banana is almost cooked, add in red beans
- Mix well and add grated coconut
- Cover and let cook for 2 more mins
- Enjoy with rice
